Lo and behold there's a Windows registry value for the job. ![]() At first I found that Bluetooth frequencies are hardware-controlled and can't be specified, but wait! There's Adaptive Frequency Hopping that can avoid certain noisy or in-use bands! ![]() Eventually I gave up and started looking at ways to tell the Bluetooth adapter to not use the WiFi frequencies. While waiting for my Intel card to arrive, I spent a week trying different driver combinations. The usual solution is to swap out the Qualcomm card with a compatible Intel card. This is a problem that's reported by thousands (thousands!) of people on the internet who use Atheros QCA61x4A / Liteon NFA344A / Killer 1535 wireless cards and other cards with Qualcomm WiFi/Bluetooth chips. After updating to Windthe interference between the Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A WiFi adapter and its QCA61x4 USB Bluetooth adapter was making the WiFi crash non-stop whenever 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth were both in use. ![]()
